Three of Celtic’s most promising young players are in the squad for tonight’s game against Cluj, Neil Lennon confirmed (via @CelticFC).
Celtic have already progressed so Lennon has planned some changes. This could present opportunities to Karamoko Dembele, Scott Robertson and Grant Savoury.
Dembele is a seriously exciting talent. The 16-year-old winger made his first-team debut against Hearts last season. Tonight could be his opportunity to show what he can do in the Europa League.

There could be a first-team debut for young midfielder Robertson. The 18-year-old operates as a central midfielder and he is also comfortable out wide. He has been on the bench for Celtic twice this season but is yet to be given his senior bow.
Savoury is also hoping to make his first-team debut. It has been a stunning turnaround for the 19-year-old, who was released by Celtic last summer. But he impressed in pre-season (when he was staying fit) and he signed a new deal. Savoury will be hoping for a run-out and he plays as a winger.
TBR’s view
With Celtic already through, this is the perfect time for Lennon to blood the youngsters. Dembele, who is at the centre of a tug of war between England and Scotland, is an exciting youngster and it will be interesting to see how he does.
Robertson deserves his chance after sitting on the bench and Savoury has shown great dedication to earn a Bhoys reprieve.
