Leeds United came through the first test of their latest injury problem at the weekend. Leeds were without Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Jamal Blackman through injury. The latter has returned to Chelsea with a broken leg.
It left Leeds potentially looking at an emergency loan deal. Or, as they did, giving a chance to an untested goalkeeper.
Will Huffer was given a chance to shine for Leeds against Bristol City. The England youth international put in a solid if not unchallenged display as Leeds won 2-0.
It came as something of a surprise. Despite Huffer playing in pre-season, it appeared before the game that Kamil Miazek was the likely deputy. The former Feyenoord youngster has previous first-team experience with Chojniczanka Chojnice and it seemed the 22-year-old might get the nod due to his extra experience.

However, Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa went with Huffer and was not disappointed.
Opportunity for one man it seems is an indictment for another. When he was signed by Leeds last January, Polish source Skuaci reported that Miazek saw himself as a future first-team stopper at Elland Road.
Now it is clear he sits below both Peacock-Farrell and Huffer in the pecking order, that seems unlikely. Miazek is out of contract in the summer and it will take a dramatic turnaround for him to realise his West Yorkshire ambitions.
