Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips saw his meteoric rise continue as he came on for England in their 2-1 win over Belgium yesterday.
The Three Lions secured the victory thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Mason Mount after Romelu Lukaku had given the visitors the lead.

Phillips was introduced as a substitute in the 66th minute of the Nations League contest, replacing Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson.
The 24-year-old collected his third cap for his outing against the Belgians and afterwards he took to Instagram to speak of his pride.
Phillips has risen through the ranks at Elland Road and is very much an integral part of Marcelo Bielsa’s team.
Some eyebrows were raised when he was first called into the England setup having never experienced Premier League football.
The midfield anchor has taken to the top-flight comfortably though and he earns his place in Gareth Southgate’s squad on merit.
Following his heartfelt Instagram post, a few teammates took time to respond with a series of emojis but Leif Davis was quick to pay Phillips a complement.

Leeds have tasted defeat just once on their return to the Premier League, securing two wins and a draw during their opening four games.
Quality
Phillips has been in splendid form and looks very much the real deal at Premier League level.

Bielsa’s all-action, high press style of play is heavily reliant on the midfield anchor being disciplined and Phillips plays it exceptionally well.
If his strong form continues, he could earn a few more England caps as the season progresses.
