Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips has told Sky Sports’ EFL Podcast that he is happy at Leeds United amid reports that Manchester United are keen on the Elland Road fan favourite.
Phillips, 23, has starred for Leeds since Marcelo Bielsa reverted the midfielder to a holding role – previously being used as a number 10. The Thorp Arch academy product has since been crucial to Leeds, even appearing at centre-back under Bielsa.
After being named in the Championship Team of the Year for 2018-19, Aston Villa became interested in his signature and Phillips has since admitted that he spoke to Dean Smith. But it is believed that Phillips wants to get Leeds promoted.
The Sun have recently claimed that Manchester United are interested in raiding one of their biggest rivals for Phillips, while other the same outlet reported Tottenham had a £27million bid rejected in the summer. Phillips ruled out a move.

“I’m not as much as people have been talking about,” Phillips said. “You get talked about for a good thing or a bad thing – and I know that I’m not doing anything bad at the moment.
