There is no doubting just how popular Kalvin Phillips is with the Leeds United fanbase. The midfielder is one of their own and keeping hold of him amid Premier League interest this summer was a huge coup from the West Yorkshire club.
There is also no doubt just how much Phillips loves the club and the city. Anyone who saw the ‘Take Us Home’ documentary on Amazon Prime will attest to his love for Leeds United.
He is also a humble character, clearly happy to give back to the city he loves.

Earlier this month, as reported by South Leeds Life, Phillips visited local club Beeston Juniors skills camp to show his support for grassroots football in the community.
The club’s child welfare officer Janine Findlay praised the Leeds United star for taking time out to come and visit the club.
“The children were all excited to meet Kalvin Phillips (some of them for the second time after he met with our players for presentation day), he was fantastic with them, signing shirts, balls and boots for everyone, posing for photographs and chatting.
“He also had a question and answer session with the children who asked a range of questions from ‘who is your funniest teammate?’ to ‘are you staying at Leeds?’”

Stories like this are not rare when it comes to Phillips and will only go toward improving his already stellar reputation at Leeds United and in the local community.
Fans love him and with good reason because he is not only exemplary on the pitch, but he is proving to be a force off of it as well.
Hopefully, Leeds can get promoted this season and have Phillips sticking around for years to come.
