Kai Havertz says one of his Arsenal teammates is just ‘unbelievable’ after his performance v Wolves

Arsenal saw off Wolves 2-0 today and Kai Havertz has been left seriously impressed by one Arsenal player.

The Gunners put in a well drilled and efficient performance to see off Gary O’Neil’s side as goals from Kai Havertz and then Bukayo Saka ensured a comfortable three points.

For manager Mikel Arteta, it was all about getting a win on the board and making sure the season started well.

Of course, Arsenal’s lack of a striker signing this summer has once again dominated some headlines.

But with Havertz scoring from his number nine position and Saka proving once more he is the man to deliver when needed, Arsenal might just be ok.

And speaking after the game, German star Havertz admitted to being blown away by good Saka is.

Speaking to the BBC after the game and commenting on Saka, Havertz admitted there’s not many who can produce what Saka does.

“We can be happy but there was some room to improve,” Havertz said.

“The first 20 minutes were good. We had good chances. We then lost a bit of control of the game and our press didn’t work. Always 100% we defended deep very well. We didn’t give them a lot of chances and it is three points.

“Saka is unbelievable. There are not a lot of players like him on the planet and he is still so young. He can get better. It is very rare to see a young player like this perform every week at the highest level.”

Saka has been one of the key men for Arsenal over the last few seasons and to start the season with a goal and assist is his ideal beginning.

Havertz, meanwhile, once again showed he can be the man up top for Arsenal.

And while others might clamour for the new number nine, Havertz simply goes about his business and produces the goods.
