Leeds United are reportedly considering a move for Juventus speed machine Douglas Costa ahead of the summer transfer window if they are forced to sell Raphinha – and Juventus supporters are keen to see the back of him.

Raphinha, 24, has been in stunning form for Leeds. Joining the club in the summer from Rennes, the winger has since had a hand in eight goals during his 17 Premier League outings – and starred again on Monday night.

His form has seemingly attracted interest from Liverpool. France Football – as per GFFN – claim Liverpool are scouting the winger while Juve Live state that the Reds are keen, and that Leeds have identified a replacement.

That possible replacement is 31-year-old Costa who is seemingly surplus to requirements at Juventus, having been loaned out to German champions Bayern Munich – the team he played for before moving to Juve.

He is struggling to recapture his form at Bayern. Last summer, Juventus rated Costa at a figure £21.5million as per TMW – but that asking price might even be smaller now, given he is set to enter the final year of his contract.

Juventus fans react on Twitter to the reported news that Leeds could consider a move for the 31-time Brazil international – and supporters of the Italian club are desperate to see Leeds take him off their hands.
