Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin.

According to Calciomercato, the Old Lady are looking to reinvigorate the right side of their defence, and Spaniard Bellerin is apparently admired by new manager Andrea Pirlo.

The legendary Italian former midfielder has supposedly requested the powers that be to sign the 25-year-old, who has supposedly been offered to Paris Saint-Germain according to The Times.

The club are operating a sell to buy policy at the moment though, with sporting director Fabio Paratici travelling to London last week to try and new clubs for some fringe players.

Bellerin, who earns £110,000-a-week (Spotrac) has been with Arsenal since the summer of 2011 after moving from Barcelona.

To date he’s clocked up 204 appearances for the Gunners and has always been something of a favourite amongst the fans.

His form has been up and down since he suffered a serious knee injury against Chelsea in January 2019.

TBR’s View – Arsenal shouldn’t be selling unless…

With Ainsley Maitland-Niles reportedly Wolverhampton Wanderers-bound, Arsenal should probably not be entertaining interest in Bellerin as well.

The star’s best form may have deserted him for a while now, but he is still quite young and he’s shown that, on his day, he can be one of the Premier League’s top full-backs.

Perhaps Arsenal should only consider if Juventus slapped in a mammoth offer, otherwise it’s probably not a wise idea with the new season starting in just a couple of weeks.
