Tottenham midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could yet be on his way out of the club in January after Juventus reaffirmed their interest.
The Turin club are known admirers of Hojbjerg and have been linked with a move for the Danish midfielder already in the last few months.
But injuries to key Spurs players like James Maddison and Rodrigo Bentancur mean that Ange Postecoglou is going to be more nervy about letting further midfielders leave.
However, a report from Calciomercato today has claimed that Juventus have now made fresh contact with the agents of Hojbjerg as they plot their move.

It’s reported that contact has been initiated and Juventus will look to sign the Dane if they can. However, Spurs are not open to doing a loan deal and at the moment, that is a stumbling block.
Spurs paid around £20m to sign Hojbjerg initially and Daniel Levy is bound to want his money back or even more if he is to cash in.
Tottenham need to keep hold of Hojbjerg for now at least
There is absolutely no way that Tottenham can afford to let Hojbjerg leave right now. The injuries they have have left them short as it is, never mind letting another experienced player go.
The only way Hojbjerg goes here is if Ange somehow gets assurances and guarantees that a new midfielder or two is going to be signed.
Even players like Gio Lo Celso are struggling to stay fit and as it stands, there’s just not room in the Spurs squad to let the Danish star go.
Of course, it does seem like Juventus are going to push hard for this. But at the moment, things are very much on Tottenham’s terms and that’s all that matters.
Should Hojbjerg push to leave, then it’s imperative that Spurs make at least one signing in January.
