Juventus’ Moise Kean could be wildcard loan signing that keeps Newcastle up

Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has to think outside of the box when identifying transfer targets this month.

With Mike Ashley unwilling to invest money into the club, Newcastle are restricted by loans and bargain deals.

But the Magpies desperately need a new striker to address the fact that they have managed just 19 goals in 23 league games this season.

Newcastle need to upgrade on Joselu and bring in another striker to compete with Salomon Rondon and Ayoze Perez.

According to The Chronicle, Juventus starlet Moise Kean has been scouted by Newcastle as they mull over a potential loan bid.

Kean is inexperienced and a raw talent, but it might prove to be a masterstroke loan signing that could ease Newcastle’s relegation concerns.

The 18-year-old is highly rated by Juventus and has already picked up nine senior appearances for the Old Lady, scoring twice. Last season, Kean played 19 Serie A games on loan at Hellas Verona and scored four goals.

The once-capped Italy international has already been recognised by his country at senior level, which is a real indication of his talent.

A loan spell in England playing under Benitez at Newcastle could help Kean take his game to the next level, while also aiding the Magpies’ survival bid at the same time.

It would be a wildcard loan addition but the talented teenager has the potential to fire Newcastle up the league table.
