Juventus are unwilling to allow forward Paulo Dybala leave in the summer transfer window, according to Italian outlet Gazzetta Dello Sport.
They report that Juve’s sporting director Fabio Paratici does not want to see Dybala depart the club because he does not feel there are adequate replacements in the marketplace.
He said: “Our squad is difficult to improve. Who do you get that is better than Dybala? It’s difficult to sign Messi. Even with Neymar I’d have doubts. Dybala is someone who is always there, until the end.”
Corrierre Dello Sport earlier this week linked Dybala with a potential move to Liverpool in a swap deal with Reds talisman Mo Salah.

But these comments about the value of Dybala – and specifically about the standard of the replacements on the market – mean that any potential swap looks dead in the water before it has even got off the ground.
There are sure to be plenty of Reds who didn’t believe it would happen anyway – they absolutely love Salah and don’t want him to leave the club – but now it seems there is not even any keenness from Juve to do such a deal.
That probably suits both clubs just fine – it was always a strange rumour in any case – and leaves Salah free to focus on trying to bring the Premier League to Liverpool.
