Juventus are now thinking about signing 23-year-old Arsenal player

Emile Smith Rowe probably needs a move away from Arsenal in the near future.

The 23-year-old is an incredibly talented player, but over the past 18 months, he’s struggled for minutes at the Emirates.

Injuries, competition and a lack of form have all contributed to Smith Rowe’s lack of gametime at Arsenal, and something needs to change.

Speaking on The Cannon Podcast, Ben Jacobs has been discussing Smith Rowe’s future, and he says that there are a few clubs in Europe that are thinking about signing him including Juventus and Roma.

Juventus want Smith Rowe

Jacobs shared what he knows about the midfielder.

“I’m also told that outside of the Premier League there are a few clubs outside of the Premier League who have looked at Emile Smith Rowe including Juventus and Roma, and in addition to that there is some interest from Ligue 1 as well, Nice are flying at the moment and they want to strengthen in this position, but that would probably only happen in the summer,” Jacobs said.

Back yourself

In our view, this is exactly the type of move Emile Smith Rowe should make.

This is a young man who isn’t afraid to back himself. He went on loan to RB Leipzig as a teenager to try to cut his teeth, and now he may need another move abroad to establish himself as a star.

Juventus may have had struggles in recent years, but make no mistake about it, Juve are still one of the biggest clubs in the world, and if Smith Rowe can shine in Turin, it won’t be long before he’s back in the England mix.

Smith Rowe needs to make a move at some point, and if Juventus do firm up this interest, he could do a lot worse than making a move over to Italy to join Max Allegri’s side.

This may be a situation to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
