Tottenham fought their way past Fulham this evening to keep alive their Champions League hopes, as Dele Alli forced an own goal to help Jose Mourinho’s men to a priceless win.
Spurs will be delighted with the clean-sheet in the end, as Fulham put them under some decent enough pressure in the second half.
Jose Mourinho included both Dele Alli and Gareth Bale from the start, although both were withdrawn midway through the second period as the busy schedule appeared to catch up with them.

And while it wasn’t the greatest performance in Spurs’ season, there were a number of fine performances in the Spurs ranks.
One of those players, again, was Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The Danish midfielder was not at his very best, but did a good job again in the middle of the park as Fulham pushed for an equaliser.
Hojbjerg has quickly become a Spurs fan favourite, as the comments on Twitter indicated this evening.
