With English football having ground to a halt, the nation’s professional players are having to find ways to entertain themselves at home, and the nation’s fans are in need of entertainment – and Leeds United have duly put the two together.

The Whites, along with the rest of the teams in the Championship, Leagues One and Two, the Premier League, the Women’s Super League and the Women’s Championship, will now not be in action until 30 April at the earliest.

On Thursday, a joint statement was issued by the FA, Premier League and EFL in which they expressed “a commitment to finding ways of resuming the 2019-20 season” and completing all domestic and European matches “as soon as it is safe and possible to do so” (BBC Sport).

Numerous professional footballers have been taking part in the Stay at Home Challenge, where they film themselves doing keepie uppies with a toilet roll, with varying results.

Leeds posted a compilation video of Kalvin Phillips, Jermaine Beckford, Bryce Hosannah, Tyler Roberts, and Pablo Hernandez (along with son Eric) showing off their efforts:

Here is what Leeds fans have been saying about their icons’ exploits with the loo roll:

Leeds currently sit top of the Championship table on 71 points from 37 games, while second-placed West Bromwich Albion are a point behind the Whites and third-placed Fulham are six points behind the Baggies.
