Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has waxed lyrical about the “incredible” Harry Kane, saying his Spurs teammate is “definitely” one of the best strikers in the world.
The England captain has been in sensational form this season, registering 16 goals and 13 assists for Jose Mourinho’s side and developing an almost telepathic connection with Son.
The Spurs duo have combined for 12 goals in the Premier League this season, one short of the record for a whole season set by Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton for Blackburn in 1994-95.

In addition to his standard No. 9 role, Kane has also been excelling in a deeper role – akin almost to a No. 10 – to get on the ball, create opportunities and cause havoc amid opponents.
Asked by Sky Sports – as quoted by the Evening Standard – if Kane was the best striker in the world on current form, Son said: “I would say yes.
“Harry has been so consistently incredible, even with big injuries he has always been so, so close to the highest goalscorer.
“He is just incredible, when you’re watching him in training or the game he can bring some magic in one second. He is one of the best in the world, definitely.”
TBR View:
It’s frightening to see just how Kane is developing under Mourinho – not only is his goal tally as good as ever, but his assist tally is also shooting right up and his overall game is getting better and better.
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson recently claimed that Kane is on the way to becoming the best player in the world given he’s now doing what Kevin De Bruyne does, on top of his usual No. 9 duties.
Factor in his defensive contributions and we’re talking arguably the most complete footballer in recent times – hopefully this season he can add Premier League champion to his CV.
