Ange Postecoglou guided his Tottenham team to another good result this weekend at Man City and David Seaman has lauded the Spurs boss.
Postecoglou looked on as his Tottenham players fought back on a number of occasions to earn a point and show their mettle at The Etihad.
For the new Spurs boss, it was just what he wanted to see from his team after three successive defeats.
And after seeing Tottenham come flying out of the blocks in the second half against City, former Arsenal stopper David Seaman couldn’t praise Postecoglou enough.
Ange Postecoglou impresses David Seaman
Speaking on his Seaman Says podcast about the Spurs boss, Seaman admitted the players will not dare say a word back to the boss if he’s having a go.
“The manager for me is just brilliant, apparently he had a right go at them at half-time and that sorted it all out I think. You can imagine him having a go at you at half-time, you’d say nothing would you? You wouldn’t even answer back at all! He looks like he’s calm and collected but you look at him and think there’s a massive hand grenade in there as well that can go off at any time. The confidence they must get from him as well and he stuck to his guns, he played the way they wanted to play and he knows that’s the best way to play for Spurs and he’s sticking by it which is great,” Seaman said.

Ange is working wonders
For the neutral fan, Tottenham are the very best watch in Europe right now. Nearly every game is exciting and it’s a case of not knowing what is going to happen in terms of the score.
However, Ange is working wonders and fans do know they’re going to be seeing a Spurs side who attack, attack, and attack again.
How they fought back to take a point at City was quite remarkable and if they can ease players back and make the odd signing in January, the sky is the limit for this team.
Postecoglou deserves huge credit and as Seaman says here, there is so much to admire. Certainly, he’s worth the reported £5m-a-year (£100k-a-week) wage he’s picking up.
