Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will reportedly assess the progress of midfielder, Harvey Elliott, this summer, before making a decision over his future.
The talented teenager has been excelling during a loan spell with Blackburn Rovers this season. The Championship has provided Elliott with a stern test but one he has passed with flying colours.
Klopp allowed the youngster to go out on loan to gain experience, despite regularly picking him in the first-team squad. And according to The Athletic, Klopp is going to take another look at Elliott this summer.

Along with Takumi Minamino, Klopp may well see Elliott as a player who can add to Liverpool’s attacking threat. The teenager has hit five goals for Blackburn, with an impressive ten assists to go alongside.
Liverpool are expected to busy in the summer market. Ibrahima Konate is said to be on his way, while a new forward is likely to be on the agenda for Klopp and his team.
TBR View: Elliott a fine player who looks more than ready
Elliott was already getting minutes anyway, so the move to Blackburn has only furthered his experience and talent.
Klopp likes him a lot as well. He was delighted when Elliott penned his Liverpool contract, admitting he ‘loved his enthusiasm, attitude, and bravery’.
It seems the Liverpool boss has high hopes for Elliott. A big summer awaits and who knows, the youngster might well save Liverpool a fortune in the market when all is said and done.
