Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has insisted that there is still big room for improvement in his Reds team, despite their unbeaten Premier League campaign.
Klopp’s charges have been in sensational form all season. However, a stuttering win over West Ham last weekend and a loss to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League have dented their progress somewhat.

With those performances, the natural questions have arisen around if the Reds can maintain their unbeaten run.
But rather than talking about going unbeaten, Klopp has, instead, insisted his team must continue to strive towards further improvement.
“There is still a lot of work to do and a lot of space for improvement,” Klopp said ahead of this weekend’s clash with Watford. (The Mirror)
“You see our games and result wise it looks okay but performance-wise there is a lot of space for improvement.”
Klopp has seen his side beaten more than once in Europe this term. Indeed, Napoli saw off the Reds in Italy back in September.
And Klopp believes his team must continue to learn, highlighting a number of areas for improvement.
“Offensively, defensively, reacting, using your own opportunities like set-pieces, defending set-pieces better. There are so many things you can improve that that will never end…probably!”, Klopp added.

Liverpool travel to Watford today with a 22 point lead over Man City in the table. A win would put them on 82 points with ten games to play, giving them a very realistic chance of breaching the 100 point mark.

Comments like these show just how much Klopp wants from his players. Some managers might be content with how their team are doing. Especially so, given the fact, Liverpool are dominating.
But the German wants more. That sort of attitude comes through in his players, too.
Liverpool will win the league. Klopp, though, will want to defend his Champions League trophy. If they can win the league and bring home the European Cup, they’ll cement themselves as one of the finest Liverpool sides of all time.
