Fabrizio Romano has told the Don Robbie Youtube channel that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp thinks Adama Traore is ‘perfect’ for his side.
Perfection
Liverpool have been linked with Traore in recent weeks, with the Daily Star going as far as to say that they are preparing a £30 million bid.
Romano suggests that report may not align with his own information.
But he does say that Klopp is a huge fan of the Spanish international, which suggests that Liverpool’s interest may well be real.
“A lot of links about him and in my opinion it’s normal as we’re talking about a fantastic player,” Romano said.
“For Liverpool, it is just because Klopp is a big fan of the player and he thinks he would be perfect for Liverpool.
“But at the moment I’m told there are no negotiations between Liverpool and Wolves, but Liverpool need to sell players.
“They are working to sell some players in the coming days and then they will move on some new signings.”
A good fit
It is understandable why Klopp apparently feels that Traore could be such a fit at Liverpool.
The Reds are such a threat on the counter already and Traore’s speed would only make them more dangerous.

The Wolves winger is one of the most prolific dribblers in the Premier League and Klopp has even described him as ‘unstoppable’ before.
But Liverpool appear to only have limited funds to spend this summer.
And it is doubtful whether they would fund what would be an expensive deal for a player who may not work out to be a guaranteed starter, given the quality of their current front three.
