Liverpool take on Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend.

The Reds will be looking to continue their brilliant start to the 2019/20 campaign, in which they are yet to lose.

Klopp’s team are in brilliant shape, but may be asked some questions by Villa, who have started to find their feet back in the English top-flight after a shaky start.

The Midlands club are sitting 15th on 11 points after 10 games, and will fancy a result at home.

Villa possess several players for Liverpool to be wary of, particularly midfielder John McGinn who has been superb so far.

TBR’s view – McGinn a Klopp-type player

Klopp will have the chance to watch McGinn up close on Saturday, and the 24-year-old is definitely a player for him to be considering in future transfer windows.

The Scotland international is very much a Klopp-type player in that, he is absolutely relentless when out of possession, but also has quality on the ball.

Few players in the Premier League have an engine like he does, and he could potentially be a brilliant long-term replacement for James Milner, who turns 34 in January and is yet to agree an extension with the club.
