Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has waxed lyrical about Reds ace Andrew Robertson following his impressive progress and exploits at Anfield since joining in 2017.
Robertson has been nothing short of a revelation since making the move to Merseyside from Hull City three years ago in a reported £8million deal.
The 26-year-old’s pace, energy, crossing ability, workrate and professionalism have seen him develop into one of the best left-backs in the world and become a major asset for Klopp’s side.

Indeed, Robertson’s heroics appear to have surprised the manager himself, who believes the Scotland international has become even better than he imagined.
“Three years since he signed. Robbo, we would have paid £30m and it would be worth it,” Klopp is quoted by the Liverpool Echo as saying.
“Not about the money we took him. £8m if you are not good enough is expensive. He was brought in because we thought he could help us.
“He is a much better person and footballer [than I thought]. A massive win-win for us. A perfect fit from Glasgow.”

What else can be said about Robertson that hasn’t been said already? The man is a machine, and is a crucial member of the Liverpool juggernaut that has been clinically dispatching of most of their opponents en route to trophy glory.
With his contract taking him to 2024 with the option of a further year, there is plenty more to come from him, while Scotland fans will be hoping he can play a part in getting their nation to a major tournament for the first time since 1998.
