Jurgen Klopp says one Liverpool player was 'angry' after win over Everton

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Mohamed Salah was “angry” after last night’s win over Everton.

For the right reasons of course – the Reds talisman finished the game with two goals, and he wanted a hat-trick.

Salah has been sensational throughout his time at Liverpool but this season he has truly gone up another level.

The 29-year-old has a staggering 19 goals and seven assists from 19 games in all competitions this term.

Pochettino Must Take Man United Job.

And Salah was once again unplayable as Liverpool thrashed their Merseyside rivals on their own turf.

He weighed in with five efforts in total, or which three were on target, and netted a brace, with Jordan Henderson and Diogo Jota also scoring.

“Crazy,” Klopp told Amazon Prime – via the Liverpool Echo – when told about Salah’s goal statistics this season.

The Liverpool boss added: “He (Salah) was angry after the game!

“He wanted to score a third one, I don’t know exactly which situation but who cares.

“[It’s] all fine. That’s how strikers are.”

Salah had a great chance to open the scoring in the opening minutes, volleying over from Jota’s cross.

Klopp’s admission that Salah wasn’t happy with two goals gives a great insight into his incredibly high standards and top attitude.

He truly is an incredible player and hopefully he can steer Liverpool to more trophies this season.
