Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has admitted that he regrets not bringing Tottenham Hotspur star Son Heung-min to Anfield.
The Reds boss was speaking about the Spurs forward after Sunday’s Premier League match between the two sides.
Klopp made the admission about Son to South Korean broadcaster KBS News, the video appearing on their YouTube channel today.

Son has been a sensational played for Tottenham and South Korea over the years.
The 30-year-old joined Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2015 for a mere £22million.
Son’s Spurs record reads 344 appearances, 136 goals and 76 assists.
In addition, the attacking ace captains South Korea, for whom he has made 105 appearances, scoring 35 goals.
With the World Cup on the horizon, Son is hoping to take part despite undergoing surgery for a fractured eye socket.
Klopp feels the Spurs ace will make it to the Qatar pitches, also admitting he wishes he’d signed the player.
“One of the biggest mistakes in my life was not signing him (Son),” the Liverpool boss told KBS.
“Outstanding, world-class, and one of the best strikers in the world.
“I heard he’ll be alright. Maybe need to wear a mask, but even with a mask, he’ll be alright.”

Spurs and South Korea are lucky
Son really has been an incredible player for Tottenham and South Korea, in terms of goals, work-rate and attitude.
It’s rare for top players to just ply their trade at a club without some transfer drama doing the rounds.
There’s a good chance Son will continue to play for Tottenham until he retires.
Hopefully that won’t be for a while yet, but nonetheless, his status as a Spurs legend is assured.
