Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on Sadio Mane, after the forward had to be substituted late on against Chelsea.
The Senegal international left the action at Stamford Bridge to be replaced by James Milner, and fans have been anxious for news about the superstar winger’s condition.

Speaking after the game, Klopp said (quoted by the club’s official website): “It was a knock on the bone, around the knee, and a dead leg – that’s an awful combination.
“He tried everything but I think you saw, there was one counter situation when he really tried and I would say on a non-dead-leg day he will get that ball, but no chance and then we say ‘come on, now we have to do it’ and changed. That’s it.”
Mane appears to now be a doubt to face MK Dons in the Carabao Cup third round on Wednesday, although he likely would have been rested anyway.
TBR’s view
Liverpool fans will be desperate Mane’s issue is nothing serious as he has been in fine form at the start of 2019/20.

The £100,000-a-week attacker (Spotrac) is obviously crucial for the Reds and has definitely played his part in the club’s perfect start to the new season.
The ex-Southampton man is in red-hot form at the moment and has been for pretty much all of 2019, having scored 18 league goals already this calendar year.
