Jurgen Klopp has told Sky Sports (broadcast on 28/10; 18:55) that Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga was unbelievable in Liverpool’s 2-1 win at Anfield.
The Reds have regained their six-point lead at the top of the Premier League after coming from behind to beat Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Harry Kane had given Spurs a lead inside a minute. Jordan Henderson equalised shortly after the break. And Mo Salah scored the winning goal with 15 minutes remaining after Sadio Mane had been brought down by Serge Aurier inside the box.
As reported by BBC Sport, Liverpool had 13 attempts on goal. But they were often frustrated by an inspired performance from Gazzaniga. He produced some outstanding saves to keep the Reds at bay.

And Klopp suggested that the Spurs stopper may have deserved to win the man of the match award for his performance.
“The goalie of Tottenham, I’m not sure who was man of the match, but maybe he was it. He was unbelievable,” he told Sky Sports.
“But what a performance he had. Unbelievable with the saves he made. Incredible.”
Gazzaniga’s display will not have come as a huge surprise to those who have seen the Argentinian play for Tottenham in the past.
He may have spent his time with Spurs as second or third choice, but he has shown that he has the potential to produce a phenomenal performance.
It could not stop Liverpool this weekend. But it is definitely an encouraging sign for Pochettino with Hugo Lloris some way off making a return.
