Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been singing the praises of his Liverpool squad this afternoon and in particular, had a kind word to say about Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson.
Keita is enjoying his best form and run in a Liverpool shirt. Since signing for big money, the Guinea midfielder has – at times – looked well short of the required level for Klopp’s side. However, in recent weeks, he has delivered with some big performances.

One of those big performances was against Inter Milan in midweek. Despite not starting, Keita was given the chance off the bench and impressed. And Klopp, speaking in his presser today, said that the likes of Keita and Henderson are the ‘perfect example’ for his squad.
“I love him to bits (Henderson). He didn’t start against Milan – he came on and made that difference. That is exactly what a player has to do. It is the perfect example. It was the same with Naby Keita. He was brilliant when he came on,” Klopp commented earlier today.
Henderson and Keita could well come into contention to start this weekend. Liverpool face another two games in four days, meaning Klopp is more than likely to go with some rotation.
TBR’s View: Henderson Will Be A Liverpool Legend
It might not be on the level of a Steven Gerrard or a Kenny Dalglish, but Jordan Henderson has written his own chapter into Liverpool folklore.
Of course, Keita has time on his side to leave his own impression but Henderson is the benchmark. He has consistently delivered time and again for the Reds, and will go down as the skipper who lifted the Premier League.
Klopp is right to praise the pair. They were great in Milan and will more than likely have a huge role to play this week.
