Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been singing the praises of Luis Diaz, as his side prepare to face Manchester United this weekend.
The Reds boss will be confident his side can pick up their first win of the season against United. It’s been a bit of a disastrous start for both sides, with United in particular having a nightmare opening few weekends to the season.
For Liverpool, another dropping of points will surely mean Man City essentially have one hand on the title after just three games. Of course, there is a long way to go, but that would be the feeling.

However, Liverpool have more than enough ability to beat United and get back on the horse, and Jurgen Klopp has been singing the praises of Luis Diaz ahead of the clash with Erik ten Hag’s side.
“He had to play immediately because two boys were at the Africa Cup of Nations, so that helped him settle in,” said Klopp. That gave him immediate confidence. It’s his quality, his talent, his skillset. He’s a really good player. We knew it before and when you’re really good it’s easier to settle in,” Klopp told Sky Sports.
“He has this special thing: He can score from outside the box, which for a striker is really important. He’s very, very important for us.”
TBR’s View: Diaz Can Shine For Liverpool Against United
Diaz scored a wonder goal against Palace last week and he’ll be relishing the chance to play against this Manchester United defence.
The Colombian is, as Klopp says, a special talent indeed. And by signing him, Liverpool won’t feel the loss of Sadio Mane anywhere near as they might have a few seasons ago.
Liverpool will be confident of seeing off the Red Devils. And if Diaz can fire alongside Mo Salah, United’s defence could be in for a long old night.
