Jurgen Klopp rejected the chance to sign Sadio Mane during his time as Borussia Dortmund manager, according to the Daily Mail.
And they quote Klopp admitting he got it wrong by turning down the man he eventually signed for £34 million from Southampton.
He said: “No it was simply a wrong evaluation of my side. I thought at that time that it was a lot of pressure on Dortmund and this transfer it had to be right.
“It is not the only wrong decision I have made, this one I could correct some years later.”

TBR’s View – Mane will benefit from Salah being back in the goals
Mane has been the main man for Liverpool in an attacking sense this season and Mo Salah getting back among the goals will take some of the burden off him and hopefully create more space for him.
The trio are so well balanced and so dangerous that defences struggle badly to keep all three under wraps at all times.
Having both firing on all cylinders going into the Christmas period is a real boost for Jurgen Klopp who has been able to coach huge improvement out of Mane having taken his second chance to sign him.
