Jurgen Klopp has heaped praise on West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen ahead of Sunday’s clash – amid reports Liverpool reportedly want to sign him.
Bowen, 24, has been on fire for the Hammers – having a hand in six goals during his 16 league and cup games. He scored in the 4-1 win over Villa.
The Athletic claimed in the summer that Liverpool are keeping tabs on Bowen, who cost West Ham a whopping £25million to sign from Hull City.
Now, Bowen has the perfect opportunity to showcase his talent to Klopp and Liverpool – if indeed, the winger is keen on a move to Merseyside soon.
That is because Liverpool travel south to take on West Ham United on Sunday afternoon at the London Stadium – in a intriguing clash.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of the match, Klopp heaped praise on winger Bowen – who is yet to win himself a cap for England.
“They have top strikers. I like Bowen a lot, he made his way up from Hull and showed the PL what kind of player he is,” Klopp said, as per the Echo.

Klopp on Bowen: Is West Ham star good enough for Liverpool?
Potentially not yet, but playing under the mould of Klopp and alongside Mo Salah and Sadio Mane – there is no reason why he cannot reach that level.
Liverpool do need attackers. Mane and Salah are set to jet off to Africa to represent Senegal and Egypt in the African Cup of Nations, in January.
Liverpool have little cover. Roberto Firmino now has a hamstring issue, Harvey Elliott remains sidelined and Xherdan Shaqiri left in the summer.
Bowen might not be good enough to rival Salah and Mane, but he is an excellent option as back-up – especially with AFCON incoming.
