Jurgen Klopp has spoken some more about Arsenal teenager Gabriel Martinelli following the youngster’s two-goal haul against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup.
Last week, the Brazilian helped himself to two goals against Klopp’s side at Anfield, leading the German to brand him ‘a talent of the century’.
It’s been a sensational start for Martinelli at Arsenal after he joined the Gunners for around £6 million in the summer (Telegraph).

He has seven goals from seven appearances, and is looking very much the real deal.
The north Londoners did well to land Martinelli, with The Daily Mail reporting they beat 25 others teams to his signature.
Speaking ahead of the Reds’ game with Genk in the Champions League, he said (Mirror): “It was not in this game only. I watch a lot of football, so I saw the Europa League games of Arsenal.

“He’s 18 years old, right?
“He’s really unbelievable. So young, looks so mature already, is a proper threat. Yeah, he looks like a really decent player.”
TBR’s view – Martinelli the future
It sounds like Klopp is a massive fan of the South American and that he is slightly regretful his staff were unable to scout him and bring him to Anfield.

The way Martinelli has started his Emirates career is hugely exciting, and Arsenal fans will hope to see him remain at their club for years to come.
They will certainly hope Klopp doesn’t come calling in the future for a player he clearly is massively impressed by.
