Jude Bellingham sends 3-word tweet as Liverpool draw with City
Liverpool played out a stunning 2-2 draw in the Super Sunday showdown against Manchester City this evening as Mo Salah and Phil Foden lit up Anfield.
On a cold and wet day on Merseyside, the Liverpool faithful had Salah to thank for two inspirational moments of play to ensure the Reds scored two goals against a rampant looking City side.
City, for their part, were outstanding at times. Foden got his goal, before an effort from Kevin De Bruyne was deflected in via Joel Matip.
The game, and Salah’s effort in particular, caught attention around the world, including that of former Arsenal midfielder, Cesc Fabregas.
And watching on as well was Liverpool-linked midfielder and England star, Jude Bellingham, who offered his own instant reaction to the game.
Reports have linked Bellingham with a big money move to Liverpool next summer. And with him watching on from afar, Reds fans will be hoping the Dortmund star is liking what he’s seeing.
TBR’s View: What a game
And that’s all that needs to be said, as Bellingham put.
It was a superb advert for Premier League football as City and Liverpool put on a clinic of high intensity football with brilliant moments of quality.
Of course, Bellingham reacted like we all did. And if he ends up in Liverpool himself, he might just be a difference maker in these sorts of games himself.
