Gareth Southgate will certainly have some big choices to make ahead of the knockout stages, particularly in midfield and out wide. Phil Foden and Rashford put in brilliant displays last night, while Bukayo Saka and Raheem sterling impressed against Iran last week.

Henderson looks set to battle it out with Mason Mount for the final spot in the midfield three and much will depend on how Southgate rated Bellingham’s display in a more advanced role.
