Jude Bellingham delivers Instagram verdict on £30m Arsenal star's display in NLD
Aaron Ramsdale has posted on Instagram after starring in Arsenal’s 3-1 NLD win over Tottenham – and Jude Bellingham has given his verdict.
Ramsdale, 23, conceded his first goal as an Arsenal goalkeeper since joining the club from Sheffield United for £30million in the summer (Sky Sports).
But the England Euro 2020 goalkeeper was excellent. Marshalling his defence, there was one instance in which he tipped an effort onto the bar.
He almost saved Son Heung-min’s close-range goal. The ex-Bournemouth goalkeeper proved to Arsenal fans that he is a level above Bernd Leno.
Ramsdale posted on Instagram for the first time after his side beat Tottenham 3-1 at The Emirates – underlining his delight at the win.
What has Bellingham said on Instagram to Arsenal ace Ramsdale?
Not only did he produce a stunning save to tip one onto the bar, but Arsenal’s number 32 was also excellent in terms of distribution.
It was a brilliant all-round display from Arsenal. Emile Smith-Rowe scored the first and created the second, setting up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Then, Bukayo Saka’s perseverance saw the England teenager net the third – all of which came before half-time. Son got one back, but it was too late.
Bellingham, and a number of Arsenal players commented on the England and Gunners goalkeeper’s post – as Ramsdale proved his summer fee.
Dortmund star Bellingham gave a one-word verdict, labelling Ramsdale and his display as “unreal”. A couple of Arsenal players also responded.
