Juan Mata responds to video of Leeds fan on Twitter; Ben Foster also replies
Both Juan Mata and Ben Foster have shown their class by reaching out on Twitter after a video was posted of a young Leeds United fan working on his goalkeeping at this difficult time.
It is obviously not an ideal time for training. But it must be particularly difficult for goalkeepers, who may be relying on having someone else working with them to ensure that they have shots to save.

However, one young Leeds fan has come up with an ingenious drill to keep himself sharp while the country is staying indoors.
The youngster set his goal up in front of his fence as he stands outside the post. He then kicks the ball against the bottom of the fence as he moves across his line to try and save the rebound.

It is a fantastic idea. And it appears that some of the Premier League’s best were incredibly impressed by the Whites supporter.
Foster seems to have established a reputation for being one of the nicest men in football. And he lived up to that reputation with the superb gesture of suggesting that he could put on a training session for the young lad.
Meanwhile, Mata seemed to put rivalry aside with a similarly classy response.
The Manchester United midfielder – who is surely rivalling Foster for being the nicest man at the highest levels of the sport – insisted that he would love to give the goalkeeper some practice by taking free-kicks at him when the chance presents itself.
Here is the tweet which included the video, followed by Foster’s and Mata’s superb responses…
When you’re a goalkeeper… and an only child… in self isolation… and trying to keep up with your training… ??came up with this himself! I’m so impressed. #coronavirus #StayHomeStaySafe pic.twitter.com/FFzJ1LE3N1

As amazing as the gesture is, some Leeds fans joked that there may be better options out there than the Manchester United midfielder…
