The agent of Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth has suggested the defender could leave the club this month.
The Argentina international has struggled to force his way into Jose Mourinho’s starting XI, with Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez all preferred in the centre-back positions so far in 2019/20.
Foyth can also operate at right-back, but both Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino before him have put their faith mainly in Serge Aurier.

Now, Foyth’s agent has commented about the situation and suggested a departure may be on the cards this month for his client.
He told InterDipendenza: “We are evaluating the possibility of going out in the January market
“We wait for this week to find clarity with Tottenham.”
The comments come after Mourinho had previously ruled out a January exit for the 21-year-old. Whether that stance will change remains to be seen (football.london).
TBR’s view – Spurs must keep Foyth
Perhaps the player is frustrated given his lack of minutes, but with the alarming form of Alderweireld and Aurier this season, and Vertonghen’s contract expiring, maybe it is worth sticking around until the summer.

Mourinho can be seen as stubborn, but he also isn’t afraid to make big calls and Foyth’s chance could soon come.
£8 million signing Foyth (BBC Sport) could come in handy for Spurs and the club should not be entertaining any calls from him and his camp to leave mid-season.
