Tottenham defender Juan Foyth says he is completely over the injury problem which struck him down in pre-season and ready to make his first competitive club appearance of the campaign.
As per TyC Sports, via Mundo Albiceleste, Foyth said he has been back fit for two weeks as he looks towards trying to help his team-mates out of their current struggles.
He said: “I’m happy to be back following my injury, I’m completely recovered. I rejoined the group two weeks ago. We all want to enjoy these (international) friendly matches and to continue being taken into consideration. If I play as a central defender, that’s good but I can also play as a full back.”

TBR’s View – Foyth’s pre-season injury put a big dent in Pochettino’s plans
Mauricio Pochettino has drawn plenty of criticism for his failure to buy a right back after the departure of Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid this summer.
The merits of the plan are up for debate but it seems quite clear he was planning to convert Foyth into a player who could play there.
He played his countryman there in some games towards the end of last season and Foyth also operated their during this summer’s Copa America.
Losing Foyth put a spanner in the works at Tottenham and their back four is still struggling to deal with that. That adds the pressure on the young man upon his return, however.
