Juan Foyth has made the strong claim that Tottenham star Harry Kane is the best striker in the world, barring Lionel Messi.
Kane, 28, has been a popular name in the media this summer due to discussion about his future. However, right now, he remains a Spurs player.
The England captain was a runner-up with his country at this summer’s Euro 2020, so his wait for a first trophy in his career continues.
He’s yet to win silverware, but has been imperious at club level for so many years.
The centre-forward ended up last season with stunning statistics. He scored 33 goals and made 17 assists in 49 games across all competitions for the north London club.
23-year-old Villarreal defender Foyth, who spent a few years as a Spurs player, has been extremely complimentary of his ex-teammate Kane. He ranks him up there with the very elite frontmen in the sport.
“If I leave Lionel Messi aside, Kane is the best striker in the world. He is an animal. There are others like Karim Benzema or Robert Lewandowski who have marked an era, but I don’t see anyone as complete as Harry. It’s hard to find players as complete as him, capable of understanding and analysing the game beyond just scoring goals,” Foyth told The Times.

Kane transfer would eclipse Grealish move
Manchester City have already made the most exciting move by a Premier League club this summer because they captured Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.
But, it would be another notch up if England’s captain is on the move.
He’s a forward that could break the all-time Premier League goalscoring record if he continues on the same trajectory.
It’s a great point that Foyth raises when it comes to Kane’ all-round game.
There is no doubt Kane is a complete striker who’s got great shooting, passing, stamina, leadership and vision all in his locker.
