Mikey Moore looks set to be the next big thing at Tottenham after a remarkable pre-season.

The attacker looks like a star in the making, and the future looks incredibly bright for the 16-year-old.

PSG are said to be interested in the teenager, but Moore has committed his future to Tottenham.

Indeed, Moore has signed a deal with Spurs that will become official when he turns 17, and staff at Tottenham are over the moon about this new contract.

Speaking on the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, Dean Jones has been discussing Moore’s new deal, and he says that someone at Spurs described this contract update as ‘big’ claiming that it won’t be long before Moore is a first-team regular.

What Dean Jones has been told about Mikey Moore and his new contract

Jones shared what a Tottenham source has told him about Moore and his new deal.

“He signed a new deal at Tottenham and I spoke to someone who has a very good grip at the club and he said ‘this is big. The club were desperate to get Mikey Moore to commit and it won’t be long before you see him feature in the squad,” Jones said.

“There’s a few like this, Jamie Donley is one I was told who had first-team potential and I was told he could make a breakthrough, but Moore is the one who has really raised the eyebrows of the fanbase.”

Moore could be the next great Tottenham talent

Tottenham Hotspur have a knack of producing incredible young players.

From Harry Kane to Ledley King, Spurs’ academy has often been at the heart of some of their most successful periods.

Moore may be the next academy talent to reach that sort of level, and while expectations shouldn’t be too high for a player who is just 16 years old, it’s hard not to get excited about the amount of talent Moore seems to possess.

This young man could be headed to the very top.
