Journalist Ben Jacobs claims that Bayern Munich have offered Harry Kane a five-year contract after agreeing a deal with Tottenham Hotspur today.

Spurs have been locked in talks with Bayern over the past few weeks over a deal to sell Kane this summer.

It looked as if Kane would be staying in North London after Tottenham turned down an £86 million offer over the weekend.

Yet, Bayern have returned with an improved bid and have seemingly agreed a deal to sign the England captain.

Indeed, The Athletic’s David Ornstein broke the news today that Bayern and Tottenham have reached an agreement over a deal for Kane.

Now, Jacobs has shared the terms Bayern have offered the striker ahead of his proposed move to Munich.

Bayern Munich offer Kane five-year deal

Jacobs took to social media platform X after the Kane news broke and confirmed a deal has been agreed between the two clubs.

The CBS journalist says the decision now rests on Kane’s shoulders, with Bayern offering him a five-year contract.

Tottenham fans would have been dreading this day all summer and now it seems their star man is heading to Germany.

Of course, Kane could still decide to see out his contract at Spurs. But it seems highly unlikely that Bayern would get to this stage of negotiations without knowing Kane wants to join them.

The 30–year-old has been exceptional for Tottenham over the years and if the move goes ahead as expected, he will undoubtedly leave with his legacy fully intact at Spurs.

Ange Postecoglou could now face the task of replacing the club’s all-time top goalscorer, with the likes of Gent’s Gift Orban and Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson under consideration.
