Sam Lee has told the Athletic’s Football Show that Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish is not having second thoughts about leaving to join Manchester City.
To stay or go?
Grealish has been linked with a move away from Villa to City all summer and those rumours have stepped up in recent days.
Sky Sports have reported how City have made a £100 million offer for Grealish.
The Villa playmaker has been seen in training with Dean Smith’s side in recent days though.
And those clips have encouraged Villa supporters that a move to City may fall through.
There has even been suggestions on social media that Grealish may turn down a move with City to stay with his boyhood club.

However, Lee has refuted these claims after speaking to close contacts with Grealish recently.
No change of mind
“There was a report from a well connected NFL writer in the States last night which said breaking news Jack Grealish is going to stay at Villa,” Lee said.
“But me personally I’m in a weird situation now where you hear that he’s going to stay, and there’s a delay because he’s thinking of staying.
“And you start thinking is this right?
“But I had a conversation with somebody last night and let’s just say that as far as I know Grealish isn’t having second thoughts right now about moving to City. Grealish still wants to make the move.”
The latest update is sure to worry Villa fans, who are desperate for Grealish to stay.
Villa have built an exciting attacking force, especially with Leon Bailey seemingly set to arrive soon.
But Grealish remains the jewel in their crown, and it will be interesting to see if Villa can fight off interest and hold on to him this summer.
