Football journalist Dean Jones has claimed that Leeds United are willing to sell Adam Forshaw in the January transfer window.
Jesse Marsch’s men seem to have turned a corner recently. After four defeats on the bounce, they picked up two very impressive wins against Liverpool and Bournemouth. Unfortunately for Forshaw, he wasn’t in the squad for either game.

Leeds United could sell Adam Forshaw in January
Forshaw has been at Leeds since joining them from Middlesbrough in January 2018. He has played 82 times for the Whites in all competitions, but things just haven’t gone his way since Marsch’s arrival.
The 31-year-old, branded as ‘outstanding’ by Tony Dorigo (YEP), has played just nine games under the American – just four of which came from the start. He has played just 47 minutes of football in the Premier League this season and hasn’t made the squad since the start of October.
It’s clear as day that he is not in Marsch’s plans, and Jones has revealed that Leeds are open to selling him in January.
The journalist told GiveMeSport: “It probably is (the right decision to sell him) and he is available in January.
“I’m told that it is true. There will be interest in him, particularly at the top of the Championship.”

TBR View:
Forshaw was really admired by Marcelo Bielsa during his time at Leeds. The legendary Argentine used him in 61 games, and he brought the best out of him at times.
Now, it’s time for Forshaw to move on.
It’s very unlikely that he’ll get a move to a Premier League side, but Jones has suggested that clubs at the top of the Championship are interested in him.
A move away in January to a club where he’ll play regularly is the best thing for Forshaw and all other parties involved.
