Leeds United star Kalvin Phillips has been “really impressed” by new Whites boss Jesse Marsch, according to Dean Jones.
The GiveMeSport journalist claims the Leeds hometown hero is “more and more convinced” about his future at Elland Road.
Phillips is one of Leeds’ top players, a key man for club and country in the prime of his career.

Unsurprisingly, this has led to speculation over his future at Elland Road.
On Thursday, the Manchester Evening News claimed that Manchester United were working on a deal to sign Phillips.
Such a move would be a bitter pill to swallow for Leeds fans, given the rivalry between them and the Red Devils.
But given Phillips is Leeds through and through, it’s hard to imagine he’d ever make the move to Old Trafford.
There have also been reports suggesting the 26-year-old is willing to commit his future to Leeds in summer.
The Mirror recently claimed Phillips has told the club board he’s happy to sign a new contract at the end of the season.
Leeds and Phillips have reportedly been keen to agree new terms for some time.
However, the two sides apparently paused talks while the Whites try to secure their Premier League status.
In addition, the outlet claims Phillips is changing agent at the end of the season, another possible reason for the delay.
“Starting to turn the corner”
Since taking over from Marcelo Bielsa, Marsch has steered Leeds closer to Premier League safety.
He lost his first two games but then won his next two before drawing with Southampton last time out.
Top-flight survival would go a long way towards helping Leeds retain their key players.
And according to Jones, things seem to be on the right track regarding Phillips’ stance on his future at Elland Road.
“They’re starting to turn the corner,” he wrote on GiveMeSport.
“He’s been really impressed by what Jesse Marsch has done so far.
“I do think he’s becoming more and more convinced about staying but, of course, money does talk.”
