Journalist Alex Crook has told talkSPORT that David Moyes remains interested in signing Josh King heading into January, and the Bournemouth striker is desperate to join West Ham United.
King’s future has been a talking point for some time following the Cherries’ relegation last season. The 28-year-old has previously scored 48 goals in the top flight.

Crook suggested that West Ham made an attempt to sign him in the summer. According to the journalist, the Hammers saw an offer of £13 million rejected.
He has since only managed to make seven league appearances for Jason Tindall’s side this season. And he is still awaiting his first Championship goal of the campaign.

Nevertheless, West Ham continue to have the Norwegian on their radar.
Crook has told talkSPORT that the Irons still want King. And King, for his part, is reportedly desperate to make the move to the London Stadium.
TBR View: January move could be best for all involved
As noted by Sky Sports, King’s contract with Bournemouth expires in the summer. So if he is not going to sign a new deal, it surely makes sense for all parties if a January move is agreed.
West Ham will improve their attacking options with a proven Premier League goalscorer, presumably at a low cost. Meanwhile, Bournemouth will secure a fee for a player who could go for nothing in a few months.
And based on Crook’s update, it would appear that King would get the outcome he is hoping for should the two sides agree a deal.
