Ian McGarry has told The Transfer Window Podcast that Christophe Galtier and Brendan Rodgers are under consideration at Arsenal as Mikel Arteta continues to try and prove himself at the Emirates.
Arteta has relieved a little of the pressure on his shoulders. The Gunners secured their first win of the campaign as they beat Norwich 1-0 on Saturday.

There were some promising signs from Arsenal. However, with the Canaries looking set to struggle this year, few will be getting carried away.
And it would appear that the Arsenal hierarchy are under few illusions. They reportedly have a couple of candidates in mind should Arteta fail to turn the fortunes around.
According to McGarry on The Transfer Window Podcast, both Galtier and Rodgers are wanted.

Galtier has only recently joined Nice. He, of course, did lead Lille to the Ligue 1 title last season.
Rodgers meanwhile, won the FA Cup with Leicester. McGarry also notes that he rejected the chance to join Spurs this summer.
Arsenal surely have little chance of landing Rodgers or Galtier anytime soon
Arsenal remain a massive club. And it would be foolish to completely write off their chances of landing either Rodgers or Galtier.
However, as things stand, it is hard to see either jumping at the chance to move anytime soon.
Galtier has only just arrived at Nice. Rodgers meanwhile, may struggle to justify leaving the Foxes for the Emirates as things are.
The speculation does highlight the work Arteta still has to do to silence all of his doubters.
