Report: Jose Kroenke has noticed one major Arsenal change inside The Emirates this season

Arsenal might have finished the season outside the top four but there is an air of positivity about the club, which has been picked up on by Josh Kroenke.

The Gunners went to the final day to make the Champions League but found themselves pipped to final European place by their bitter rivals, Spurs. Of course, losing out to your biggest and main rivals is always going to hurt, especially when Arsenal had it in their own hands for so long.

However, despite that disappointment, the Arsenal ownership are said to be happy with the progress. And that comes both on and off the pitch. According to The Athletic today, Josh Kroenke took time in his latest program notes to point out the new era of Arsenal fan coming to The Emirates.

7 Greatest Premier League Strikers of All Time

“It feels like there is a young, fiercely loyal group of fans coming through, alongside those who have been with us for many seasons. We’re a club that has an amazing history and you can hang your hat on that and also, we can build our club on that, but some of your younger supporters weren’t around for the amazing glory years, which is what we are chasing today,” Kroenke is quoted as saying by The Athletic.

Arsenal’s board are expected to back Mikel Arteta in the summer. A number of new signings are being looked at, with a striker, midfielder, and defender all on the Gunners boss’ radar.

TBR’s View: Plenty To Be Positive About For Arsenal And The Kroenke’s

While missing out on fourth is a huge disappointment for Arsenal, there is plenty to be happy about. Mikel Arteta has firmly put his stamp on things at the club, while players seem to enjoy playing for him as well.

Obviously, not making the Champions League will affect who they might be able to sign. However, Kroenke’s observation about the fans will go down well here, and there is plenty to be optimistic about for those Arsenal fans.
