Inter Milan have made contact with Tottenham Hotspur regarding the purchase of Tanguy Ndombele and a swap deal may be on the cards.
That is according to a report from Sky Italia, who claim that the Nerazzurri have wanted the Frenchman since his time at Lyon.
The report claims that Inter could offer Tottenham players that Jose Mourinho is a fan of to try and reduce the cost of any operation.
Croatian duo Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic are named as two potential options, however, they are not the first choice of the Tottenham boss.
The report claims that Mourinho would want Inter to include Slovakian centre-back Milan Skriniar in any deal for the out-of-favor Frenchman and that Inter Milan are open to the idea.

Skriniar would undoubtedly be a fantastic recruit for Tottenham and would be an impressive recruit to strengthen the club’s defensive options.
Mourinho has been linked with a move for Skriniar before, during his time as Manchester United boss.
The defender even commented on the potential move to Old Trafford.
“When some coach like Jose says that he is looking for a player like me or somebody else, it’s always nice, but I don’t know why these rumours continue,” Skriniar told ESPN in 2018. “I’ve not said anything to anybody, just what you can see on the web.
“Even if Jose is one of the most famous, best, greatest coaches in the world, it’s not something I think of because I’m playing for Inter and am happy here at Inter.”
So it is clear that the 25-year-old is a big fan of the Tottenham boss and would seemingly relish the chance to play under his management.
Whilst Tottenham fans would be devastated to see Ndombele leave it is clear the Frenchman is not going to be a success under Mourinho’s management. Skriniar looks a far better fit for the current Tottenham boss and this swap deal might be the best scenario for all parties.
