Everton take on Manchester United in the Premier League later today, hoping to pile more misery on Jose Mourinho and his men.
The Toffees are also likely to field Andre Gomes yet again. The summer signing from Barcelona immediately impressed Evertonians last week with an assured display against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The Portuguese international is now certainly on the team-sheet for Marco Silva later today.
One man who does know about Gomes’ talent is United boss Mourinho.

In the past, he has been heavily linked with a move for the player.
The links with ‘the Special One’ go as far back as the summer of 2016. As reported by Marca, Manchester United were keen on signing the player that summer to add some strength to their midfield positions.
Gomes was coming off the back of an excellent season with Barcelona and went on to help Portugal to win the European Championships that summer.
“Mourinho is a great coach, there is no doubt about that, but for now my future is left to one side.
“I am not at all concerned with what will happen after the European Championship, I look forward to the tournament starting.”

Manchester United did not get their man. Instead, Barcelona snapped up Gomes in a deal reported by the BBC to be in the region of £45.8 million.
Since then, he has struggled to establish himself at Barcelona and Mourinho has been linked on a number of occasions since. This summer, however, it was fellow Portuguese Marco Silva who bagged the player and this afternoon he will be hoping to get the best off Mourinho’s United at Old Trafford.
