Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho decided to be tight-lipped when asked questions about the fitness of defenders Ben Davies and Matt Doherty.
Spurs host Liverpool on Thursday night in the Premier League, as they welcome last season’s champions to North London.
Mourinho’s side suffered a 2-1 away defeat against Liverpool on their trip to Anfield earlier in the season, with Roberto Firmino scoring a 90th minute winner in the reverse fixture.
The Spurs boss has been asked for an injury update ahead of tomorrow night’s game and opted not to give anything away.
Mourinho refused to give an update on left-back Davies, who was forced off late in the FA Cup win over Wycombe Wanderers with a suspected injury.
Meanwhile, right-back Doherty has been sidelined the past couple of games through injury and the manager suggested there may be others suffering with problems ahead of Liverpool.
“Yeah, and we have more problems than that what I’m not going to share. You have to wait for tomorrow but we have a little bit of more problems than that,” Mourinho responded when asked if Davies or Doherty would be available to play against Liverpool.

TRB’s View:
Neither Davies or Doherty are regular starters in the team, which is why it wouldn’t be the end of the world if they were both unavailable against Liverpool.
But Davies’ ability to play at centre-back would likely restrict Spurs from playing a back three and they’d surely have to resort to a back four.
Sergio Reguilon is likely to continue at left-back, while Serge Aurier is currently in possession of the first-choice right-back spot in the opposite full-back area.
