Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has shared an exciting update from the Spurs camp, namely a clean bill of health in terms of the squad’s injury list.
Prior to the football suspension, Tottenham had a number of players sidelined and their season looked in danger of unravelling completely.
Mourinho had no senior strikers at his disposal, with Harry Kane nursing a hamstring injury and Son Heung-min recovering from an arm injury.

Steven Bergwijn and Moussa Sissoko were also out, and with so many absences, Spurs failed to win their last six games in all competitions, dropping out of the Champions League and FA Cup in the process.
However, Mourinho has now confirmed that all of his players have recovered from injury, though he stressed this was different from full match fitness.
“Harry Kane, Son, Bergwijn, Sissoko, all of them are fine,” he told Sky Sports. “I think with a couple of weeks of normal training, when the authorities tell us we can train normally I think in a couple of weeks, the boys will be ready to play, of course not in the maximum of their potential, I think nobody can do that in this moment.
“For us, of course, it is a great feeling, because we finished the period with that defeat at Leipzig, where we were really, really in trouble to have 11 players, including attacking players, and in this moment (Erik) Lamela, Son, Dele (Alli), Harry Kane, Bergwijn, everybody is fit now.”
TBR View:
It’s great to hear Mourinho being able to announce a clean bill of health with his players – perhaps not the biggest surprise but, considering how depleted Spurs were prior to the shutdown and how badly their form suffered, welcome news all the same.
Obviously the next step is to get the players match fit, something every club will have to contend with, but when it comes to Spurs’ remaining nine fixtures, fans will fancy a full-strength side to get the results needed to claw themselves back into European contention.
