Jose Mourinho has confirmed to Tottenham Hotspur’s official website that Harry Kane will miss Thursday’s game and admitted that he is a doubt for the North London derby – but insisted that he thinks that he will feature this weekend.
It looks set to be a pivotal few days for Spurs. Victory against LASK will secure their spot in the knockout stages of the Europa League.

And of course, their clash with Arsenal needs no additional stakes. But Tottenham do have the additional motivation to retain top spot in the Premier League, and add to the Gunners’ current misery in the process.
However, their preparations have not been ideal. Ahead of their trip to Austria, Mourinho suggested that Kane will not be involved. And while he added that he is also facing a fight to be back for Sunday, he expressed his hope that he could play.

“I’m not going to tell you the nature of his injury, but I think he has a good chance,” he told the club’s official website, when asked whether he will be ready for the derby.
“I don’t want to lie, I don’t want to hide anything in relation to if he’s going to play or not. I think he’s going to play, that’s my feeling.”
It is surely going to take something incredibly serious to keep Kane out of the clash with Arsenal. Even by his standards, he has been a revelation this season.
And it looks extremely difficult to imagine Spurs taking to the field this weekend without him.
The Gunners would certainly be forgiven for preparing to come up against a Tottenham side that includes their talisman.
